DESCRIPTION:In early November Superstorm Sandy had devastating effects on the east coast. Not only did it affect thousands of people and their communities but also it forced the cancelation of more than 380 blood drives in 13 states and the District of Columbia. As a result the Red Cross must hold about 600 blood drives each day across the U.S. to meet patient needs.
The Red Cross along with the Dyckesville Lions Club will be holding a blood drive on December 15th 2012 at St. Louis Parish Center in Dyckesville from 8am to 12pm. Please consider donating to help compensate for the effects of Superstorm Sandy and to help others in need. You may schedule an appointment online at redcrossblood.org or stop by the blood drive to make a donation.
