Peninsula State Park Announces April Programs

Saturday April 13 Nature Center open 10 AM – 3 PM. Chipmunk Stick Puppets Stop by anytime from 10 AM – 12 Noon. 15 minutes. Chipmunks are scampering about. Why not craft one to keep, using recycled materials? Kids can stop by any time to learn about this frisky critter. Sounds of Spring Stop by the Nature Center any from Noon to 3 PM to listen to calls of timberdoodles, wood frogs, and other spring singers. See mounts and photos of these and other park animals. 15 - 30 minutes.
Saturday April 20 Nature Center open 10 AM – 3 PM. Mapping Peninsula State Park 1 – 1:30 PM. Nature Center. Whether you’ve been to the mark many times, or enjoying your first visit, you’re sure to learn something new at this informal talk highlighting park history.
Wednesday April 24 Basic Archery Instructor Training Green Bay. $75 fee for all-day workshop. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Saturday April 27 The park naturalist will host a booth at the Sustainability Fair at Graham and Martin parks in Sturgeon Bay. Keynote Address by Paul Tukey, founder of SafeLawns and winter of the prestigious Horticultural Communicator of the Year Award.
