Winter Hideaways
11:00 AM - 11:45 AM

Not all animals migrate south. Some survive under tree bark, stay “frozen” in muddy ice, or even live under ground. This family program explores how animals survive winter, with a special focus on whistle-pigs. Craft, too.

"Pete the Cat" Stories
12:30 PM - 2:00 PM

Come join “Pete the Cat” and the Friends of Door County Libraries as young children and their families enjoy Eric Litwin's  “Pete the Cat” stories and get to meet a large-than-life  “Pete the Cat.”   We’ll play games, make a craft to take home and enjoy a (gold) fishy snack.   Join the Cool Cats and Kiddies for a fun afternoon!  Bring your camera (or phone) to take pictures with Pete!

Discover Snowshoeing
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Learn to “float on snow” and be active this winter. Follow the naturalist on a fun exploration hike. Bring your own snowshoe or borrow from the park’s limited supply. Instructions provided. Dress for the weather.
