How long does it usually take to build a custom home?

Usually, it takes five to six months after the plans have been drawn for the 
house.  This amount of time can vary depending on the size of the home, the 
weather, and other factors.
 

What is the cost of building a custom home?

This can also vary.  Generally, a custom home starts at $65-$75 per finished 
square foot, and the price increases depending on what items you decide to 
put in your home.  For basement completion, the price is lower per square foot.

What items are the biggest influences in deciding the final cost of a home?

Since each house is unique, many things can influence the final price.  But typically, 
the items influencing the price are complicated floor plans, kitchens, types of 
windows, deck size, floor coverings, type of siding, type of roof system, finishes, 
and excavation. 
 

How does the process of designing a house work?

The designers will take the floorplan that you have in mind, and plan a layout to your specifications.  If you don't have a particular floorplan in mind, we will help you to create a floorplan that meets your unique lifestyle.
