Snowblowers in Door and Kewaunee counties may get their first real action of the season as much of northeast Wisconsin enters a winter storm warning. From 9 a.m. Tuesday to noon Wednesday, the National Weather Service is suggesting total snow accumulations could be between six and ten inches, though other models are guessing less could fall. Overnight winds could make a bad storm worse with blowing snow causing bad visibility and drifting on area roadways. Some local organizations like the Door County Master Gardeners and Kewaunee Artisan Center are already canceling Tuesday evening events. You can follow DoorCountyDailyNews.com for an updated list of early dismissals, cancellations, and postponements throughout the day.
The Southern Door girls basketball game at Oconto is postponed.
