Allen Tipps from Stodola’s IGA in Luxemburg was surprised Monday morning by his co-workers with a national “Employee of the Month” award.  Nominated a few months ago by store owner Alex Stodola, Tipps received recognition and a plaque when he walked into the breakroom around 9 am.  Stodola says the award was much deserved.

Tipps, who has worked at Stodola’s IGA for the past 20 years, shares what he enjoys most about being a carryout at the supermarket.

The newly restarted program is part of brand relaunch by IGA called “Local equals Fresh” at the over 3,000 stores around the country, according to Stodola.
