Running through the streets of London, England on a rainy Sunday morning, Tim Kowols from Door County Daily News finished the London Marathon in 2:55:03. Kowols qualified for the race known as the “Super Bowl of Marathons” and was supported by family along the 26.3-mile route. Running for JDRF UK, the United Kingdom’s leading Type 1 Diabetes charity, Kowols raised 2,319 pounds (equivalent to $2,883.21).
