Wisconsin Deer hunters will have one more year of gathering at registration stations to check out the success of fellow hunters.
Starting in 2015, harvested deer will be registered either on-line or by phone. The DNR Board made that decision yesterday.
Penny Starr from Q Mart in Sturgeon Bay says hunters in Door County won’t need to drive from one end of the county to the other to register their deer.
The number of deer management units in the state will also be reduced.
