Town of Gardner residents are invited to find out more about a proposed new building and remodeling plan for the Brussels – Union – Gardner Fire Department tonight.
Town of Gardner Chair Jon Koch says the Fire Department is out of space in the current buildings.
The plan is to build a new facility near Brussels and remodel the current Gardner station. Koch says they are looking to put the building project up as a referendum question in November. Early estimates put the cost at $4.5 to 5-million.
The listening session on the fire department project starts right after the regular Gardner Town Board meeting at 6:30 at the GardnerTown Hall.
