A judge has yet to determine whether the Department of Natural Resources acted properly in issuing permits for the expansion of a Concentrated Animal Feeding Operation in Kewaunee County. A hearing was held earlier this month in Green Bay.
Recently-retired Sevastopol Principal Joe Majeski attended the hearing and has shared his impressions in a letter on the DoorCountyDailyNews.com Opinion Page.
Majeski says he thinks the first problem is that DNR is stuck with outdated regulations.
Half of the wells in the town of Lincoln in Kewaunee County do not meet minimum standards for drinking water quality.
