Sturgeon Bay’s noise ordinance will be discussed later this week by the Community Protection and Services Committee.
Police Chief Arleigh Porter says they want to find out if the 20-year-old ordinance still meets the city’s needs.
Porter says in 2009 there were about 150 general noise complaints received in the city. Last year there were 86.
The Community Protection and Services committee meets Thursday at 5 at Sturgeon Bay City Hall.
