Southern Door High School students will get a high-tech opportunity to learn about the dangers of texting while driving at an Assembly today.
Principal Steve Bousley says they realize just how attached students are to their mobile devices.
The program is called “It Can Wait” and is presented by the State Patrol, Triple-A and At&T.
Jessica Erickson of AT&T says the highlight will be a distracted driving simulator.
The program also features a documentary that shares real stories of lives impacted by someone’s decision to text while driving.
