Hatco And A.J. Frank Honored At Door County Economic Development Luncheon

Governor Scott Walker brought his Blueprint for Prosperity message to the Door County Economic Development Corporation’s Annual Investors Meeting Monday in Sturgeon Bay.
During the meeting, Hatco Corporation was named the Door County Industry of the Year. Hatco is an employee-owned company with 340 employees that produces products for commercial foodservice operations.
A.J. Frank was named the Door County Entrepreneur of the Year. Frank owns Door County Trolley, Inc, which has grown from one trolley in 2000 to eleven trolleys today. Door County Trolleys now transport up to 750 people per day around the county during the season.
In an interview after his speech to the group, Governor Walker talked with DoorCountyDailyNews.com about a need to branch out to reduce unemployment in Door County.
More than 400 people attended today's luncheon at Stone Harbor in Sturgeon Bay. The Door County Economic Development Corporation is celebrating its 25th year in 2014.
