UPDATED - Reckless Homicide Charges Filed Against Three In Door County Heroin Death






Initial court appearances have been set for three people charged with First Degree Reckless Homicide in connection with a heroin overdose in Door County.

27-year-old Tierra Oehring of Sturgeon Bay will make her initial appearance next Thursday. She already had a court appearance on a prior misdemeanor case involving bail jumping and obstructing an officer set for that date.

33-year-old Alvin McFeely of the town of Egg Harbor and 37-year-old Christopher Anderson of Green Bay are both set for initial appearances on June 16th.


First Degree Reckless Homicide charges have been filed against three people in connection with a death caused by a heroin overdose in Door County.

Charges were filed yesterday against 33-year-old Alvin McFeely of the Town of Egg Harbor, 27-year-old Tierra Oehring of Sturgeon Bay and 37-year-old Christopher Anderson of Green Bay. All are charged as parties to the crime of First Degree Reckless Homicide. None of the three have yet appeared in Door County Court on the charges.

Authorities say the three are connected to the death of 39-year-old Gregory Broeckel, who was found dead at his residence in the town of Sevastopol on April 9th of what has now been confirmed has a heroin overdose.

Authorities say more arrests can be expected.
