Sometime during the night of Wednesday, September 18, and the afternoon of Thursday, September 19, 2013, vandals destroyed 639 young cherry trees at Seaquist Orchards between Sister Bay and Ellison Bay.
Rewards were offered for information that led to an arrest, but Door County Investigator Connie Schuster says no one has yet been taken into custody.
Schuster says there have been no similar criminal acts reported.
Anyone with information can contact the Door County Sheriff’s Department and may qualify for reward money.
