COIN, which stands for Community Opportunity Investment Network , is designed to help entrepreneurs in Door County start or expand their businesses. The Door County Community Foundation raised $100,000 for the COIN microlending pool, allowing businesses previously denied bank loans a chance to get their businesses off the ground. Foundation President and CEO Bret Bicoy explains the purpose of the COIN Business Mentoring Program.
