The City of Sturgeon Bay will begin its fall loose leaf collection on Monday October 22nd.
The public works department asks that you rake all leaves to the curbside, but do not let leaves go into the streets as they increase pollution to the storm water and can cause flooding.
Only loose leaves will be collected; bagged leaves and other brush/garden waste should be brought to the city's compost site on Division Street.
Weather permitting, leaf collection will run through the week of November 12th. The city recommends waiting to put leaves curbside until all of your leaves have fallen and can be collected at once.
