Bay Pharmacy's 'Giving Tree' Gives Gifts To Young And Old

Bay Pharmacy in Sturgeon Bay has put up its 'Giving Tree' again this year, with a new twist.

Besides donating gifts for senior citizens in residential facilities, customers can donate to children in need.  People interested in contributing have until December 8 to pick up a tag from the 'Giving Tree' and return a gift. The tags on the tree disclose the age, sex and interests of the recipient. Gifts will be wrapped and given to the senior or child before Christmas. Bay Pharmacy Project Coordinator Deb Wegner explains how the 'Giving Tree' works.

Wegner said she hopes that over 100 gifts can be collected this year.
