With the holidays, for many, 'tis also the season for added stress.
Holistic health coach and registered Nurse with Succeed Health Jody Anderson says that stress can result in many unwanted issues…
Anderson says stress can also result in headaches, other physical symptoms, and a rather large nutritional impact with the body's release of a hormone called cortisol.
And normally, when people eat under those circumstances, Anderson says they make bad choices; looking for carbohydrates and foods to give quick energy.
Anderson says that stress is unavoidable in today's society, but suggests getting organized, delegating, and not being afraid to ask for help as ways to reduce some of that stress. She says it can also be as simple as doing something relaxing every day, and making sure you get enough exercise daily.
