Door County 3rd Graders Receiving Dictionaries

The Sturgeon Bay Breakfast Rotary Club this year is again distributing dictionaries to every third grader in Door County.

Over 300 are being distributed to grade schools throughout Door County. Rotary’s Community Service Projects Committee has organized the event the past three years. The books have been delivered to most schools already and will be completed in the next two weeks. Ann Smejkal (pictured above), past Rotary president and principal for the three elementary schools in Sturgeon Bay, handed out dictionaries to classes at Sunrise School this past Wednesday. The Sturgeon Bay Breakfast Rotary Club is a local civic organization of over 30 business leaders from all over Door County.
