
A 33-year-old De Pere man required emergency medical treatment and a 27-year-old Minot, North Dakota man was arrested following a fight in downtown Sturgeon Bay this past weekend.
It happened Saturday around 2:30 a.m. near Poohs Corner Pub on Kentucky Street.
According to the Sturgeon Bay Police Department website, when officers arrived the 33-year-old was bleeding from the head and lying motionless on the concrete. Police say the fight started when one of the men began making racial comments to the other.
Door County paramedics provided emergency medical treatment to the injured man and then took him to Door County Medical Center.
The North Dakota man was booked at the Door County Jail on charges of substantial battery and disorderly conduct.
