Students at Sturgeon Bay High School are doing their part to help with the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.
The school is sponsoring a blood drive on December 12 hosted by the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) club.
Sturgeon Bay HOSA president Gracie Bubnik says the main goal of the drive is to teach students the importance of donating and to help raise awareness for the victims of Hurricane Sandy.
Gracie explains the qualifications needed to donate blood.
According to the American Red Cross, every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood.
