Residents and the staff at Anna’s Healthcare in Sturgeon Bay gathered with excitement Wednesday morning with family and friends for a ribbon cutting ceremony. The recently-built assisted living facility has been home to 11 residents for the past few weeks already and owner Tammy Begley says they are in the process of assessing about 20 more applications. So far, things have gotten off to a pretty good start.
One of the residents, Lee Graf, was chatting with everyone and giving tours of his own room. Graf was proud to announce that he moved in November 23 and was number four. His one-bedroom apartment is quite spacious and he proudly displays photos of his family on the wall. Anna’s Healthcare has multiple options when it comes to available living spaces and each apartment has a full bathroom.
The residents also have access to an exercise room, a chapel, a small salon, and a theater. Begley encourages anyone interested in viewing the facility to stop by and check it out. Anna’s Healthcare will be holding an open house January 11-13 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Resident #4, Lee Graf enjoys keeping the other residents at Anna's up to date on current events.
