The Village of Sister Bay will again be conducting a free Christmas tree pick-up for Village residents and business owners. Weather permitting, pick-up days will be Monday, January 7 and Monday, January 14. The trees will be recycled.
• All lights, ornaments and other decorations must be removed from the trees.
• They must be placed curbside on either Sunday, January 6, 2013 or Sunday, January 13, 2013.
• There will not be a separate tree drop off site.
• Artificial trees, any and all wreaths, or live trees with lights or ornaments left on will not be picked up.
The Village is also recycling Christmas lights. A collection barrel has been placed by the Village Hall, 10693 N. Bay Shore Drive, and lights can be deposited in that barrel at any time. You do not have to be a Village resident to recycle lights, and no fees will be charged.
