A dialysis clinic on Sturgeon Bay's east side is under new ownership -- and now also has a new zoning classification.
Community Development Director Marty Olejniczak says the clinic at 108 South 10th Avenue -- near Hope Church -- was recently sold by Aurora and the new owner sought to change the property's zoning from Single Family Residential (R-2) to Office/Business Park (C-4).
The business is now owned by Bay Development II, LLC and operated by DaVita.
Olejniczak says the new owner doesn't plan to make any changes to the building or the operation.
"Other than a new sign on the building, for the neighbors and the public it should be operating exactly the same," says Olejniczak. "Same clientele, same use, just a different company operating it."
The City Council approved of the zoning change December 18.
