Northern Door Health & Wellness Ministry continues its Community Health Information Programs (CHIPs) with a series on Domestic Violence.
Domestic Violence is a pattern of abusive behavior that is used to maintain power and control over an intimate partner. It not only affects those who are abused but also family members, friends, and the community at large.
The first program in the 3-part series will offer a panel comprised of the Adult, Child and Senior Services Advocates of HELP of Door County who will discuss "Domestic Violence at Different Life Stages and the Community Role in Violence Prevention."
The program will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Door County on Highway 42 in North Ephraim Sunday, January 27 at 1:30 pm.
Northern Door Health & Wellness Ministry is made up of faith communities from northern Door County and the YMCA. For more information visit http://www.northerndoorhealthwellness.com/.
