Door County Habitat for Humanity will celebrate its 20th birthday next Saturday, and Board President Mike Stephani says the organization certainly has a lot to celebrate.
The organization doesn't stop at building houses; Habitat volunteers also do critical repairs on existing homes in Door County.
Stephani looks forward to continuing Habitat's success and says besides building two more homes this year, there are more critical repairs in the works.
Habitat for Humanity of Door County will kick off its 21st year with a celebration January 26 at its office on 14th Avenue in Sturgeon Bay. From 9 am-2 pm there will be activities for the kids, door prizes, Packers memorabilia, information about Habitat programs, and of course, refreshments.
