Students at Sturgeon Bay High School are getting ready for the boys basketball game versus rivals NEW Lutheran on Friday, January 25.
Project 180, a school club that promotes “Rising Above The Influence” of drugs and alcohol, will be sponsoring a Teddy Bear Toss. Spectators are allowed to bring teddy bears and other stuffed animals of their choice to throw on to the court during halftime of the varsity game.
Senior Caimyn Lutze, a Project 180 advisor says that they are expecting a good turnout at the game and they hope that a lot of fans will participate.
This is the first year Sturgeon Bay will be holding the Teddy Bear Toss. Project 180 members hope to see many community members at the Sturgeon Bay High School gym on Friday for the important cause.
