There’s magic in the music at Birch Creek Music Performance Center! In 1976 Birch Creek began as a vision to combine professional musicians with performance-based education of promising young musicians. Today, Birch Creek welcomes over 200 students, along with many of their families, to Door County each summer. These students immerse themselves into the rigorous routine of a professional musician. After two-weeks, students leave Birch Creek with new friends, mentors and professional connections that last a lifetime.
The Birchfellows campaign is Birch Creek’s annual operating fund that allows us to continue this vision. Birch Creek is pleased to bring in 2013 on a high note in regards to its annual Birchfellows fundraising campaign. Thanks to the very generous support of our new and long-time donors, we exceeded our goal by 9% - a first in Birch Creek history! Birch Creek extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped us in this success. These bountiful gifts will go far in helping Birch Creek better serve its students and faculty, while allowing us to continue in Birch Creek’s mission which is to provide intensive, performance-based instruction to promising young musicians by immersing them in a professional, mentoring environment.
