
Outagamie County Executive Tom Nelson spoke at the Democratic Party of Door County’s Pie Party Saturday and says winter is the perfect time to visit Door County.
Nelson has kept in touch with the Democratic Party of Door County since they helped him win a State Assembly seat in 2004 and tries to visit as often as possible to support the organization. This time he brought a pie to raffle off and spoke about observations he made during the elections this past November. He says there’s a lot to be proud of with victories from Tammy Baldwin and President Obama.

When asked about the possibility of a run for governor in 2014, Nelson says really enjoys his job as county executive in one of the best run counties in the state.
Nelson began his four-year term in April 2011.
