Tuesday morning's icy roads did a number on school buses in Kewaunee County.
In a span of nine minutes, three school buses ran into problems. Sheriff Matt Joski says one ended up in the ditch and two others became stuck in the roadway.
Joski says the first call came in at 7:22 a.m. about a bus being stuck at the intersection of Rockledge Road and Townline Road in the Town of Casco.
Seven minutes later a bus was unable to get traction at Church Road and Sawmill Road.
Two minutes after that, dispatchers received a call about a bus losing control and sliding into the ditch near Valley Road and Canyon Creek Road in the Town of Luxemburg.
Joski says it was just a very tricky time to be on the roads.
"Nobody was injured, nothing to that effect," says Joski. "They basically just had to wait for the highway (crews) to salt the roads to be able to create road conditions so they could continue on. That's how bad it was."
