A new Miss Door County was crowned this weekend.
Samantha Cole took the honors with sister Hannah Cole named first runner-up.
Miss Door County executive director Shirley Ehlers says when the announcement was made it took Samantha a moment -- and some help from her sister -- to realize she had won.

Ehlers says Saturday night's pageant at the Southern Door Community Auditorium reminded her of the 2010 Miss Wisconsin pageant when Door County sisters Katie and Kimberly Sawyer were the last two standing.
"It certainly brought those memories back having Hannah and Samantha Cole standing there also," says Ehlers.
Ehlers says Samantha -- whose platform is on suicide prevention -- will be graduating from UW-Stevens Point this year.
Ehlers says the pageant awarded $11,300 in scholarships.
Abbigayle Grosbeier was the winner of the Miss Door County Outstanding Teen competition.
