The 31-year-old Sturgeon Bay man scheduled to go to trial on nine charges, including attempted homicide, has reached a plea agreement with prosecutors.
As part of a deal struck Monday, Kemoni Garner pleaded no contest to five felony charges, including a reduced charge of recklessly causing injury instead of attempted homicide. Four other charges were dismissed.
The charges stem from an incident that took place June 23, 2012 when Garner is accused of getting into a fight with another man, running over a woman with a vehicle and leading authorities on a high-speed chase.
Judge Peter Diltz ordered a pre-sentence investigation and will schedule sentencing after the report is received.
Garner is being held on $150,000 bond.
