The snow and freezing drizzle is making driving a challenge and has forced some school districts to alter their schedules.
The Algoma School District has cancelled classes Thursday. So has Marinette.
Kewaunee, Luxemburg-Casco, Oconto and Oconto Falls are among the districts that are starting school two hours late.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until midnight Thursday because more snow is expected. The National Weather Service says the freezing drizzle is expected to change back to snow with 3 to 5 inches across most of the area.
Other weather-related cancellations:
-Door County Maritime Museum speaker series featuring George Houde rescheduled for April 4 at 7 p.m.
-St. Mary's Algoma Rosary Society Meeting - cancelled for Thursday night and rescheduled for Friday at 1:30 p.m.
-Southern Door youth wrestling cancelled
-Gibraltar at Kewaunee girls basketball postponed. Rescheduled for Feb. 15.
