Two Sevastopol Seniors Earn High Naval Recognitions

Two Sevastopol High School seniors have gone above and beyond the call of average students. Nick Bruno and Dominique Bowers have earned special recognition for their high school careers by the US Navy. Nick will be heading off to the Naval Academy in June to start his expense-paid education.

Bruno says his acceptance into the Academy was something that he was overjoyed by but did not anticipate. 

Dominique is the recipient of the NROTC Scholarship, which covers her tuition to UW-Madison along with her books and uniforms. She says she was really excited when she got the news.

The two seniors will have to complete at least four years service for the Navy once their education has concluded.
