Five poets from Gibraltar High School will be featured this Wednesday as part of the Dickinson Poetry Series. English teacher Lauren Bremer says her students – Maxwell Berndt, Evan Board, Anya Kopischke, Alicia Mickelson and Caitlin Weber – will showcase their works.

The Dickinson Poetry Series, hosted by the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, brings renowned local or regional poets to Ephraim for a reading and reception the second Wednesday of each month. Bremer says students from Gibraltar have been invited to read at the series in the past, and both Kopischke and Mickelson participated last year as well.
The reading Wednesday is open to the public free of charge. It will begin at 7 p.m. at the UU Fellowship, 10341 Hwy. 42 in north Ephraim.
