Washington Island School Superintendent Tim Raymond says he looks forward to discussing the district's proposed referendum at his monthly "Island Chat" Wednesday, February 20 at 6 p.m. at KK Fiske.
Raymond says Islanders are also welcome to stop in at the school to learn more about what's being proposed.
Washington Island voters will see a two-year referendum on the April 2 ballot. The referendum would allow the district to exceed the revenue cap by $391,000 in the 2013-2014 school year and by $481,000 the following year.
