Grade school and high school students in Door and Kewaunee counties are being invited to enter a contest to come up with the best public service message to stop bullying.
The contest is being put on by the radio stations of DoorCountyDailyNews.com in cooperation with Dr. Jennifer Olson.
Contest winners will get new iPads.
We asked Dr. Olson, a mother of three, if she had any advice to share with kids to help them get started on their message.
One iPad will be awarded to the best message written by a grade school student and a second iPad will go to the best message submitted by a high school student.
Messages must be no longer than 60 words and students will be required to record their message for broadcast. (Parental authorization to use the messages on the radio stations of DoorCountyDailyNews.com must be signed in order for any students under the age of 18 to be recorded.)
The entry deadline is June 1. Winners will be announced on the WBDK/WSBW shopping show on Saturday, June 22.
More information about the contest can be found here.
