
Governor Walker defends his decision not to accept federal dollars to expand Medicaid as part of a plan to help people become less dependent on the government.

Democratic state Representative Sandy Pasch praises Walker and Assembly Speaker Robin Vos for recent announcements on mental health, but says mental healthcare suffered when Walker said no to extending BadgerCare.
"It should have been the easiest budget decision he could make -- good for Wisconsin taxpayers, good for economic security, and good for the health of Wisconsin citizens," Pasch says.
