Eighth grade students from Door and Kewaunee Counties will get a leg-up in planning their careers at the annual Door Kewaunee Business & Education Partnership (DKBEP) Career Day Tuesday.
DKBEP Program Coordinator Carrie Starr says the students will get to explore various career clusters including arts, business administration, construction, tourism, nursing and many more at NWTC during the event.
Starr says it’s important for eighth grade students to think about their future and career they’d like to pursue.
If students really take an interest in a certain career at Career Day, Starr says DKBEP can also help high school students find internships and job shadow opportunities.
