Wellness Center Closes For 'Reorganization'

A medical facility in Sturgeon Bay is closing its doors.

A message posted Friday on the Facebook page of the Wellness Center of Door County said "Until further notice the Wellness Center of Door County is closed for the purpose of reorganization."

Attempts to reach the clinic were unsuccessful.

The news comes a bit more than three weeks after Wellness Center co-founder and chief clinical officer Michele Geiger-Bronsky submitted her resignation.

Geiger-Bronsky co-founded the clinic -- located at 312 N. 5th Avenue -- in 2003 and recently guided the facility through a major expansion and remodeling project.
