There figures to be a bit more buying and selling going on around Sturgeon Bay on Friday, May 31 and Saturday, June 1.
Those are the dates for this year's city wide garage sale.
Participants will have their choice of hosting their sale on just one of the days or both days.
Residents interested in participating are asked to stop by the City Clerk's office (421 Michigan Street) Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to pick up a registration form to fill out. Forms are also available online at http://www.sturgeonbaywi.org/. Participants will be asked to provide their address, a list of items that will be at the sale, and the times they'll be "open for business." An $8 fee will be due at registration to help cover the cost of advertising.
Once registered, participants will receive a sign to place on their property for the day of the sale. The city will also publish a list of locations participating in the sale.
