Renée-Paul Gauthier Named Birch Creek Symphony Orchestra Concertmaster

There's magic in the music at Birch Creek Music Performance Center! A true Door County treasure since 1976, Birch Creek provides over 30 performances for thousands of concertgoers over its eight-week season. Each year Birch Creek welcomes nearly 100 world-renowned, performers and educators who return as Birch Creek faculty members to share their expertise and professionalism.

In 2013 we welcome Renée-Paule Gauthier who will lead the Birch Creek Symphony Orchestra as Concertmaster. The award-winning Canadian violinist is a sought-after chamber player and soloist.

"I am extremely thrilled to be joining the outstanding faculty of Birch Creek Music Performance Center," said Gauthier. "Birch Creek perfectly marries the excitement of performance and the wonders of musical growth. Having the privilege to share my enthusiasm for music and my knowledge of the instrument is the ultimate gratification."

You are invited to see Renée-Paule Gauthier in concert beginning Thursday, June 27 through Saturday, July 6 in the Dutton Concert Barn at Birch Creek, three miles east of Egg Harbor on Hwy E.

If you would like additional information on upcoming Birch Creek concerts or special events visit our website at or call our offices.
