Home sales were lower in March in both Door and Kewaunee counties.
According to figures released by the Wisconsin Realtors Association, existing home sales in Door County were 6.1% lower in March 2013 than they were in March of last year. Kewaunee County saw a drop-off of 45.5% (12 homes sold in March 2013 versus 22 sold in March 2012), although Kewaunee County's median sales price was 62.2% higher. Door County's median price dropped 9.2%.
Statewide, existing home sales were 3% higher -- the 21st straight month of sales growth -- and median prices grew 9.7%.
