WEP Inc. will soon be under new leadership.
The Board of Directors of WEP Inc. has announced the hiring of Sandy Duckett as the new CEO. Duckett will take over the duties of retiring CEO Mavis Arnold on May 7.
WEP, Inc. is a non-profit organization located in Sturgeon Bay that provides services to residents and businesses of Northeast Wisconsin by providing opportunities in the area of employment, energy conservation, and home improvement. With programs that serve Door, Kewaunee, and Brown counties the organization is rapidly growing and the search committee is excited about the expertise that Duckett has in fostering that growth.
"I am thrilled to be joining this fine organization and its talented staff which provides employment and home energy services to individuals and families," Duckett said in a news release announcing her hiring. "I look forward to working with the staff, the Board of Directors, and Community leaders to ensure we are meeting the needs of individuals and the communities of Door, Kewaunee and Brown Counties."
Duckett has served in numerous leadership roles in Northeast Wisconsin in education, economic development and non-profit work. Her most recent position was as Vice President of College Advancement at NWTC and the Chief Operating Officer of the NWTC Educational Foundation, Inc.
She's served on many community boards including the United Way of Brown County, YMCA, Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce Public Policy Committee, and The NEW NORTH Marketing Committee.
