Door County home sales were up nearly 8% in April with median prices making a bigger leap.
According to figures released Monday by the Wisconsin Realtors Association, home sales in Door County grew 7.9% from April 2012 to April 2013. The median sales price jumped 30.1%, from $146,000 in April of last year to $190,000 in April 2013.
Kewaunee County's numbers didn't show much movement, with existing home sales falling from 12 to 11 over the same time frame and the median price dropping from $67,950 to $67,000.
Statewide, existing home sales grew 9.2% from last April to this April, marking 22 straight months of positive sales growth in the state.
