The city of Sturgeon Bay is letting residents know that some things are simply unacceptable.
At least when it comes to garbage collection.
The city's Municipal Services Department has put out a reminder about what items are not allowed to be placed out for the regular weekly collection -- things like brush and garden waste; bricks or concrete; and hazardous items and e-waste.
The department says they've seen an increase in those types of items lately, possibly because the city's new garbage and recycling trucks do not require sanitation workers to physically place the trash in the trucks.
Anyone with questions may contact Municipal Services Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. at 746-2912. A rundown of the city's garbage and recycling rules can be found here.
