Wednesday will mark the third day of Brian Cooper's murder trial in Door County.
On Tuesday, jurors viewed videos of two interviews that Door County Sheriff's Investigator Mark Winkel conducted with Cooper -- one on August 19, the day Alisha Bromfield was killed, the other from the following day.
The 36-year-old Cooper faces two charges of first degree intentional homicide for allegedly strangling Bromfield, who was approximately six months pregnant when she was killed. He's also charged with third degree sexual assault.
Cooper originally pleaded not guilty and not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect but withdrew his NGI plea on Friday.
The case is being tried in Sturgeon Bay but is being heard by a Wood County jury because of the amount of pre-trial publicity in Door County.
