The jury tells Judge Todd Ehlers the members have reached a point in their deliberations where two members are dissenting.
Saturday's first question from the 12-member jury, fifth overall, in Brian Cooper’s murder trial came in just after 9:15 a.m.
Ehlers asked both attorneys if either objected to giving the jury further instructions. Defense attorney Shane Brabazon did object, pointing out that the jury had already been deliberating for about ten hours. Without hesitation Ehlers stated that relative to the case he believes the jury should continue deliberating with further instruction.
The jury continues deliberation.
