The Village of Sister Bay has yet to name a new administrator to fill Bob Kufrin’s shoes, now that he is officially retired.
To keep things in the village rolling the board named Kufrin as interim administrator during a special meeting last Tuesday until one of the five candidates up for the position is chosen. As the interim administrator, Kufrin will be performing minimal duties.
Kufrin, who is on the hiring committee, hopes to have a better idea of what the village wants to do at the July 9 board meeting.
Other actions by the board on June 25:
Approval of the sale of the Old School parcel to Mitch Larson for $400,000
Approval of exchanging approximately 81,000 square feet of land located at 10625 North Highland Road for two lots located on Jungwirth Court to Mike Johnson
Both matters will be taken to the plan commission on Tuesday for rezoning consideration. Kufrin also expects the commission to approve the final downtown redevelopment plans.
